This is my most prized possession. My Noel Gallagher Epiphone Supernova. My father bought it for me for christmas 2 years ago and I haven't put it down since. It's an amazing piece of work with an amazing sound and in times like finals, this is the only thing that keeps me sane.
My name is Nikki Maldonado. I'm originally from San Antonio, Texas but now live in Warner Robins, Ga. I moved to Ga in the 10th grade, and after a lot of getting used to, I started to love it here. I've made some amazing friends along the way, so much that I find nothing in life more important than my friends and family. My entire family still lives in San Antone, and though I miss them tremendously, my friends help me make it through just fine in the months I'm not vacationing in Texas and spending time with the fam.
Currently I am a Speech Communications major with a Music Business minor. There is nothing in life that I'm more passionate
about than music. The Terry College of Business began its efforts at putting UGA on the map for Music Business courses by
opening up this new program this semester. Even though its only the first semester, our program is fully up and running
with lots of support throughout the local music community. This semester we created SRRL's (Student Run Record Labels) in
which we found a band, worked on their press, booked shows, created a showcase for the program bands, recorded a song,
and now we're pitching them to various music representatives around Athens. Though this class is not as textbook based as
other classes, we learn just as much, if not more, through our experience being gained. My group, Honeybun records, managed

As far as down time and hobbies go, I'm pretty basic: music, movies, traveling, and sports (specifically San Antonio Spurs basketball). 
Born and raised in SA, I was bred to be a Spurs fan. Right now is playoff time and I'm ready for another championship for the best
team in the league. Aside from my heavy love for music and Spurs basketball, traveling is one of the most important elements
of my life. I've gotten used to the 18 hour drives to and from San Antonio to visit, so traveling has been something I had to get used
to. Although I love to fly, I would sometimes rather drive. There is not much better that driving for hours with a few of your best friends
with your favorite songs blasting on an amazing road trip.
